The Erie County Dept. of Public Works has made a County Road Status map viewer available on the Public Works website, at the tab called “Road Closures.”

The direct link the Road Status Viewer is here.  The viewer shows current status of Erie County roads including closures, and the locations of current County Public Works projects.  Live weather radar is also displayed as a resource for residents travelling throughout Erie County.

Erie County maintains more lane miles of roads (2,400) than the states of Delaware, Rhode Island, and Hawaii through the year-round efforts of crews stationed in 5 county highway barns. The use of the Road Status Viewer allows users to not only locate any county road in Erie County but learn its conditions and any applicable travel restrictions.
