In the United States, one in four women will become a victim of domestic violence in her lifetime. The ECCSW works with the community to honor the lives of those affected by domestic violence through our Tribute Garden. Each year before Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, we join with Cornell's Master Gardeners, local youth, and community members to maintain and expand the Tribute Garden while providing community education on the pervasive issue of domestic violence in Erie County.
