The Erie County Department of Senior Services has announced a virtual public hearing to be held in order to seek community input regarding unmet needs of the county’s older adult population, seek feedback on existing programs and services offered by the Department, and ideas on how to better serve the county’s older population. All Erie County seniors, caregivers and family, program managers, and anyone with an interest in senior services are encouraged to join.
“While COVID-19 has forced many changes to the way we deliver services and will continue to do so, our annual public hearing remains an important way for our Department to listen to residents and allow for interaction with department personnel. It gives us an opportunity for the community to let us know what is currently working well and what areas can be strengthened,” said Commissioner of Senior Services David Shenk.
