Kids (4-14 years old) can join an Erie County Park Ranger on Friday evenings to learn the basics of fishing. In addition to fishing, participants can learn about fish identification, fishing equipment and techniques, knot tying, angling ethics, and aquatic ecology. Fishing poles will be provided but this program is limited to 10 kids, due to equipment limitations. Parents must stay on site and supervise their children. Parents do not need a fishing license for this program.
