BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — For the second time, organizers of E2 Expo have come together to shed light on the progresses happening within the disability community.
"A lot of organizations are available for people with disabilities in Western New York, but they are not well publicized," Cochair of E2 Expo Nick Heilig said. So, he decided to change that with his annual exhibit.
"I wanted to promote people with disabilities and the things they are doing," he said.
Tables ranged from motivational speakers to authors and athletes. While the organizers were pleased by the turn out for the event, the hope that next time more able bodied people will attend.
"The people with the disabilities are living this thing so it's kind of like we're preaching to the choir, so I want more people from the community to come out and learn what these people are doing," Executive Director of the Erie County Office for People with Disabilities Frank Cammarata said.
