The Western New York Hot Spot Fishing Map has recently added two new functionalities.

The fishing hotspot layer has been broken into individual fish type layers in the table of contents.  This allows the public to only display the species of fish they are interested in instead of showing all fish types.

Additionally, the application has added a Marine Routing feature.  The user now identifies starting and ending points and the application will create a sailing route for the user to follow that avoids all areas that are shallower than 10 feet.  This use of contours will help users travel safely and efficiently to their destination.

The map can be accessed here: https://wnyfishing.mrf.com
