Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon delivered thousands of Valentine’s Day cards to local soldiers and veterans through her 5th annual Valentines for Veterans program.

Legislators introduce local law to give voters the right to decide on term limits for county officials

Erie County Legislator Kevin Hardwick, along with co-sponsors Chairman John Mills, Legislator Lynne Dixon, Legislator Ted Morton and Legislator Edward Rath have introduced a proposed local law that would give voters the right to decide on term limits for Erie County’s elected officials. The timeline calls for the referendum to be on the ballot in the November 2015 election.

Legislator Dixon kicks off Valentines for Veterans program

Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon kicked off her 5th annual Valentines for Veterans program at St. Mary of the Lake Bright Future Early Learning Center on Tuesday, Feb. 3 followed by a busy week of card making to ensure the packages are ready to be delivered by Valentine’s Day.

Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon announces that a Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) Outreach will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at the Lackawanna Senior Center, 230 Martin Road, Lackawanna to help residents with the application process. All applicants will be interviewed.
