Legislator Dixon announces Pothole Hotline, email

Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon announces that Erie County’s Department of Public Works has added an email for residents to report a pothole. The email is in addition to a complaint tip line, (716) 858-7966, where residents can leave a voicemail with a complaint.

Legislator Dixon distributes educational art kits to Frontier Middle School

Thanks to a partnership between Albright Knox Art Gallery and Erie County, thousands of educational art kits are being delivered to local middle schools. On Friday, March 6, 2015, Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon joined Frontier Middle School administrators to distribute the kits to students.

Blasdell Volunteer Fire Department honored for 110th anniversary

Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon presented a proclamation to the Blasdell Volunteer Fire Department recognizing its 110th anniversary and outstanding service to the community. The proclamation was presented on March 7 at the annual installation ceremony.

Legislator Dixon honors local Kiwanis Clubs during organization’s 100th anniversary

Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon congratulates Kiwanis International and all of Erie County’s local clubs on the organization’s 100th anniversary. The Erie County Legislature Majority Caucus honored Kiwanis International on its 100thanniversary at a session in January. Legislator Dixon presented a proclamation marking this milestone to the Hamburg Kiwanis Club at its Feb. 26 meeting.

Shoreline Trail moving forward, completed project will open access to Buffalo Outer Harbor from Lackawanna

Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon announces that funding has been approved to move the Shoreline Trail Bethlehem Steel Project forward to open access to the waterfront. The Erie County Legislature approved a resolution at the Feb. 26, 2015 session allocating $62,000 in county funds for the preliminary engineering design phase.
