LONG form applications due

The applications will be released earlier in the year and be due earlier, while still allowing organizations more time to complete them.

Last year, all organizations had 7 weeks to submit their applications; this year it is almost 9 weeks for Short forms and almost 10 weeks for Long forms. The staggered deadline will improve submission through the website. However, we strongly encourage all organizations to submit their applications – with all required components and correctly formatted – before their respective deadlines. Any applications that do not meet the requirements will be sent back to be corrected; past due submission of materials may be counted against the organization. A checklist will again be provided to assist you in completing and submitting the 2019 Short- or Long-form funding applications.

As in prior years, if some of your organizations’ documents are not ready by the due date, please submit your most recent version of that document. You may submit additional information regarding the status of such documents (or other information) in either the essays, as an additional attachment, or in the notes portion of the submission webpage.

The funding application will be available on the Erie County Environment and Planning webpage. An email will be sent when the applications are available, and it will be announced through the Department’s Facebook and Twitter pages. All organizations that meet the requirements of the Cultural Funding Program as listed on the program website are encouraged to email Mariely Ortiz at mariely.ortiz@erie.gov to be added to the contact list and to apply for funding.

Additional information is available on the webpage to assist applicants. Help is also available from Arts Services Initiatives of WNY at (716) 362-8389.
