Legislator Loughran Announces County Prescription Drop-Off Event April 27

            Erie County Legislator Thomas A. Loughran (D-Amherst) is joining County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz announcing that the Erie County Department of Environment and Planning, the federal Drug Enforcement Administration and several other groups will collect unwanted and expired prescription drugs at several locations from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 27.

Legislator Loughran Greets New Polar Bear Cub at Zoo Before Meeting

            Erie County Legislature Chairperson Betty Jean Grant (D-Buffalo) meets the new polar bear cub, nicknamed Luna, at the Buffalo Zoo before Legislator Lynn M. Marinelli chaired the Community Enrichment Committee meeting held at the zoo this week. The Buffalo Zoo is holding a contest to name the new polar bear cub on its Facebook page.

Legislator Loughran Sponsors Income TAXi at Community Center March 4

          Erie County Legislator Thomas A. Loughran (D-Amherst) will sponsor the Income TAXi, a free tax preparation service offered through Daemen College, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, March 4, at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road, Harlem Road, Amherst.     

County Legislature Unanimously Approves Ralph Wilson Stadium Lease MOU

               The Erie County Legislature unanimously approved a memorandum of understanding for a 10-year lease deal with the Buffalo Bills for usage and improvements at Ralph Wilson Stadium at its January 24 session.
