Legislator Barbara Miller-William Presents Proclamation to The National Witness Project & The First Ladies of WNY

On April 5th Legislator Barbara Miller-Williams presented a Proclamation to The National Witness Project & The First Ladies of WNY (FLOW) who partnered with Windsong Radiology. She extended her congratulations as the ribbon cutting occurred today for a new Mobile Mammography Unit.

Legislator Miller-Williams Participates In Meals on Wheels for Western New York's “Champions for Meals” Week

Legislator Barbara Miller-Williams participated in Meals on Wheels for Western New York, delivering meals to residents of Buffalo's East Side. The organization serves meals to more than 3,400 homebound clients each year, helping the frail and ill elderly or disabled enjoy the highest level of independence possible.

Legislator Barbara Miller-Williams was honored to be able to greet her sisters of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated North Atlantic Region AKA Day at the Capitol in partnership with the Great Lakes Region-Western New York Chapter. The meet up occured at the 47th Annual NYSABPRL (New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators) Conference the weekend of February 16-18, 2018 in Albany, NY.

Mayor Byron W. Brown Honors Legislator Miller-Williams at Black History Month Program

On Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at the City of Buffalo’s annual celebration of Black History Month, Mayor Byron Brown honored Erie County Legislator Barbara Miller-Williams for her contributions to Buffalo as a member of the United States Army Reserves and the Buffalo Police Department.

Proud to have had the opportunity to welcome Roland S. Martin, journalist, civil rights activist, and thought leader to Buffalo during a celebration of Canisius College’s Afro-American Society’s 50th Anniversary . Mr. Martin has used his platform to raise awareness on issues important to African Americans across our nation, and I have

issued proclamations in his honor at the Erie County Legislature.
