Erie County Legislator Joe Lorigo recently presented a proclamation to Aurora Town Supervisor James Bach and all of the individuals and entities who worked to make the annual Town of Aurora WinterFest possible.
WinterFest first began in 1984 and has since grown into a village and town-wide event. The Fest took place on February 12th through the 21.st Some of the activities included: cross country skiing, snowshoeing, skating, hiking, yoga, a chili making challenge, and the Chamber of Commerce promoted a Mini Restaurant Week throughout the Town.
Legislator Lorigo said, “What a great time WinterFest is for all ages. It is a time-honored tradition bringing family, friends, and neighbors together to celebrate and take advantage of the winter months here in Western New York. I want to take a moment to thank Aurora Town Supervisor James Bach and all of the individuals who have worked so hard to make the Town of Aurora WinterFest go off without a hitch.”
