Erie County Legislator Joe Lorigo announces a number of organizations throughout his legislative district will receive Summer Primetime funding from Erie County. Each year, the funding is awarded to youth groups, organizations, and recreational programs across the county.
Funding was secured for the following organizations:
- Boys and Girls Club of East Aurora - $10,000
- Boys and Girls Club of Elma, Marilla, and Wales - $10,000
- Boys and Girls Club of Holland - $10,000
- Cornell Cooperative Extension - $10,000
Legislator Lorigo said, “I have been proud to remain involved with each of these organizations and see the many ways this funding is put to use. The Boys and Girls Clubs and their staff do an outstanding job serving the youth in our community through year-round programs and services. I applaud their tremendous work and look forward to continuing to offer my support.”
Determination of Summer Primetime funding is coordinated through the Department of Social Services and the final proposal is requested by the County Executive’s office. For a list of all organizations receiving 2019 Summer Primetime funding, click here.
