Erie County Legislator Joe Lorigo recently toured local businesses throughout the Towns of Colden and Holland and met with their owners to discuss ways the county can help them thrive.
Legislator Lorigo visited Holland Hardware, Holland Pharmacy, Colden Kitchen, and Colden Ski Shop and Board.
“I would like to thank each of these businesses and their owners for taking the time show me these great locally-owned resources in the Towns of Holland and Colden,” said Legislator Lorigo. “Small businesses play an invaluable role in improving our community. Too often, they are burdened by New York State regulations and high taxes. It’s important we identify ways in which Erie County can offer support.”
Colden Ski Shop and Board, a family-owned business, also recently partnered with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team to fit them with skiis.
“It’s great to see this family return to Colden and make such a large impact on the community,” Legislator Lorigo added. “We appreciate their support of public safety and effort to help the Sheriff’s Office SWAT team better respond to emergencies.”
