As part of the 2019 Capital Budget Bond Resolution, the Erie County Legislature approved $300,000 in funding for mill and overlay of Maple Road from Hopkins Road to Transit Road in the Town of Amherst.

“I am happy to announce we will finally see work done on Maple Road,” said Legislator Rath. “I have spoken with many residents in my district about the need for repairs and I look forward to seeing this project completed in 2019. I am hoping to see additional road addressed by DPW this spring and will continue to advocate for repairs throughout our community.”

In addition to the projects listed above, the Legislature approved funds to upgrade the county’s highway fleet, enhance cyber-security networks, and make various road rehabilitation improvements across the county.

More information on the list of approved projects can be found here.
