Erie County Legislator Ed Rath, along with The BFLO Store, recently hosted a contactless food drive at The Eastern Hills Mall to benefit FeedMore WNY.

By the end of the drive, several huge donation boxes were filled to the brim with key items such as: diapers, peanut butter, jelly and various canned goods. In total, 689 pounds of food was collected, along with $20.00.

Several children who tagged along with their parents got the chance to witness the importance of giving back to the community. On top of that, they got to wave and briefly chat with Buffalo’s Best Batman who made a special guest appearance.

Legislator Rath said, “It was a pleasure to meet so many upstanding citizens who took time out of their busy morning to drop off items for the needy. Your kindness and generosity means so much to a countless amount of people. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all of those who participated.”
