During the March 5, 2020 session of the Legislature, Erie County Legislator Ed Rath was joined by members of the Erie County Farm Bureau and President Hal Kreher to present a proclamation designating March as Agriculture Month in Erie County. Hal Kreher owns Kreher’s Farm Fresh Eggs in Newstead, NY, which has been in operation for several generations.

Legislator Rath said, “Erie County is home to more than 900 farms, owned and operated by farmers who work tirelessly to provide us with the food we eat daily. This month of recognition is just one small way to let them know we appreciate everything they do. I thank Hal and all other members of the farm bureau for supporting and promoting the farming community, and for taking time to join us for last week’s presentation!”
