Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro has secured $185,532.00 in state aid from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation to be used on snowmobile trail maintenance in Erie County. The funding is to be used for the 2020-2021 snowmobile season.
The agreement with the State pertains to maintenance performed by individual Snowmobile Clubs of Erie County on club trails located outside County-owned lands as well as on trails located in Erie County Parks and Forestry lots.

Legislator Todaro said, “I am happy to have been able to secure this funding for snowmobile trail maintenance in Erie County. Here in Western New York we often have long winter months that sometimes seem to go on forever. Having properly maintained trails allows for residents to take advantage of the winter months and hit the outdoors and breathe in some crisp, fresh air! I myself can’t wait to get back out there!”
