Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently celebrated National Wine Day at Grapevine d’Vine in Lancaster and presented a proclamation to owner Deborah Atkinson.
The Lancaster business helps guests make their own batches of wine, about 28 to 30 bottles, in just four to eight weeks. Guests pick out their preferred type of juice and through the use of a five gallon fermenter, the process begins. When the wine is ready to be bottled, the customer comes back to the store and assists in siphoning the wine and adding homemade labels.
Grapevine d’Vine is owned by Deborah Atkinson who was named “Woman Business Owner of the Year" in 2020 to celebrate her leadership and accomplishments of owning and operating a small business.
Legislator Todaro said, “Grapevine d’Vine is a valued and trusted small business and I want to thank owner Deborah Atkinson for her hard work making her business a destination for many customers. It was an honor to stop by and check out all they have to offer. If you are looking for a fun and unique wine experience, you should check out Grapevine d’Vine!”
