New York State Law requires each Town to post the Tentative and Final Roll. Town of Newstead also has a paper copy to view in our office. In order to help you to better understand these documents, click on the Overview of the Assessment Roll. The roll is sorted by SBL#. To find out what your SBL# is go to the tax data website, type in your address and click submit. This will bring up the most recent tax bill record. The first column is your SBL#. Click on the "Roll" below to search by for your SBL#. Village properties are sorted first, then Town.
