Kearns to Host Free Information Drive-Up Event for County Residents
Seeking Assistance on Residential Foreclosure Issues

ERIE COUNTY, NY—Erie County Clerk Michael P. Kearns and the Stay in Your Home Campaign will be offering a free, confidential session for Erie County residents seeking assistance on residential foreclosures and zombie home prevention. This “drive-up” informational event will be held on Wednesday, October 27th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Delavan-Grider Community Center located at 877 East Delavan Avenue in Buffalo. The event will take place in the parking lot of the community center.

Homeowners will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from the WNY Law Center, Belmont Housing Resources for WNY, attorneys and housing counselors to learn more about their options if they are facing foreclosure or behind on their tax or mortgage payments.

The Stay in Your Home Campaign is part of the Erie County Clerk’s Zombies Initiative and was created in response to the inevitable foreclosure crisis due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
