Black Rock Canal Park Phase 3 is currently undergoing preliminary design and review.  

Phase 3 will include improvements to the boat launch area, including:

• an extension of the boat ramp, 
• re-surfacing of existing dock area, 
• additional lighting, and 
• the addition of security cameras tied into the Buffalo Police Department.

Work is currently scheduled to start and be completed in the Fall of 2016.  Funding is being provided by the NYPA through Niagara River Greenway Commission.
