Learn the business model and components to consider for community solar projects and resources available to help your community prepare for Community Solar development, reduce administrative burdens, attract outside investment and lower the cost of electricity for residents and businesses. 

The workshop will cover Community Solar basics and introduce critical aspects and best practices for planning and zoning for solar, Payment-In-Lieu-of-Tax(PILOT) agreements, and siting solar while protecting farmlands. Specifics on solar project economics and Model Solar Energy Local Law will be covered, followed by a Q&A session. The same presentation is offered at two different time slots.
