The Parks Master Plan Update is well underway!

Stakeholder focus group meetings were held in December 2016 and a survey was mailed to 5,000 County residents in March 2017. In April 2017 a link to the same survey was available for anyone interested in providing some feedback. The Findings Presentation summarizes feedback received from these public outreach efforts.

There will be opportunities for further public engagement later in the year, and a Comment form is available at all times on the Parks Master Plan page. 

Meanwhile, the consultants and County staff have been hard at work reviewing existing policies, practices, and department offerings, as well as the condition of, and amenities in, the parks.
