TeachingPollutionPreventionYr2

By using art projects and a developed S.T.E.A.M. curriculum, teachers can engage their students to understand their role in pollution prevention. "I am the Solution..." is the message, with the Art Projects and the Science Museum Exhibition set to motivate students to take creative approaches to understand their impact on the natural environment.

You are invited to join this unique and exciting program, starting with the Teacher Development Day.

During this Professional Development Day, teachers will explore S.T.E.A.M. lessons about plastic pollution, the science behind pollution, and art/video making. Grade-appropriate lessons will help your students in grades K – 12 think about solutions to pollution caused by the single-use plastics they use every day.

Attendence is required to participate in the Art Contest.
