Department of Environment and Planning is seeking sealed bids for construction of a federal aid recreational trail project.
The project is located on Route 5 in the City of Lackawanna on a property that is part of the NYS Brownfield Cleanup Program.
Sealed proposals will be received at DEP, 95 Franklin Street, RM 1004, Buffalo, NY 14202 at 10:30 AM, Friday, March 2, 2018.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in the Erie County DEP, 95 Franklin St., 10th Floor.
Copies of the contract documents, plans and specifications may be purchased at the office of Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI), 4950 Genesee St., Cheektowaga, NY 14225.
The deposit for each set of contract documents shall be $100.00 in the form of one check or money order, in the amount of the deposit, and made payable to the Erie County Comptroller.
Bid deposit of $100,000 is required.
Minority workforce goals, Apprenticeship requirements, 9% DBE and Davis Bacon Wage rates are required. Additional bid submittal information is on the Erie County Purchasing website
