 COVID-19 Information: Town of Clarence Departments are open to the public.  Individuals who are unvaccinated are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing in the building at all times. It is highly encouraged that all individuals entering the building wear a mask at all times. The Town Hall has a drop box for mail or payments located to the right of the front door.  All office numbers are listed in the directory.  Town Board and other meetings are back to in person meetings - dates and times on the website.

Road Closure: Portion of Greiner Rd

Per Erie County Department of Public Works: Effective October 19, 2021 from 8:00am to 4:00pm the portion of Greiner Road between Bank Street and Salt Road will be closed to traffic. 

School Taxes 2021

Town of Clarence School Taxes are due October 15, 2021. The Town Clerk's Office is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm (Closed October 11, 2021). There is a Night Depository Box to the right of the front door on the brick wall of Town Hall. Tax Information

Trick or Treat Night 2021

Designated Trick or Treat Night in the Town of Clarence is Sunday October 31, 2021 from 5:00pm-8:00pm.

Road Closure

Effective Saturday August 7, 2021 at 6:00am Salt Road between Greiner Road and Main Street will be completely closed off to traffic (including emergency). The Police Dept, Fire Dept, and School District have been notified of this. Work should take approximately 3 weeks; the Town will be notified when traffic can resume.
